About this blog

Pantelwar Engineering is where we write about the systems, tools, and decisions behind the products we build. Long-form, technical, written by the people who do the work.

Why we write

Every engineering team makes hundreds of decisions — which database to use, how to handle distributed transactions, why one queue fits better than another. Most of those decisions disappear into Slack threads and design docs that nobody reads six months later.

This blog is our external memory. When we choose Postgres over DynamoDB, or build a custom auth layer instead of reaching for a library, we write down why. It forces clarity in the moment and helps anyone else facing the same trade-off.

What we cover

  • Distributed systems and data pipelines
  • Postgres internals, indexing strategies, full-text search
  • Infrastructure, deployment, and developer tooling
  • Go, TypeScript, and Next.js in production
  • Fintech-specific challenges — payments, reconciliation, compliance
  • Engineering culture and decision-making frameworks

Subscribe via RSS — it's the only distribution channel we support. No newsletter, no social media algorithm, no tracking pixels. Just posts in your reader.
